Hundreds of Google's AI researchers have signed a letter addressed to CEO Sundar Pichai asking that the company's AI not be used for classified military missions. After employees protested Google's work with the military in 2018 the company declined to renew its contract with the military and introduced a set of AI principles but it has since walked some of those back and strengthened ties with the military.

Anthropic holding back "Mythos" wide release due to fears of security breach
